From Denny: Now if this doesn't take the Oscar for best performance for the incredibly weird but true category in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. There's a man in Oklahoma (you have to watch those overly oppressive Republican states) who has been breaking into churches just so he can watch porn on the internet. He says he targeted churches because he claims his family is "very religious."
You won't believe this 21 year old guy's name: Nathanael Christian. As far as the "allegedly" counts go he is charged with four counts of second-degree burglary because he broke into four churches. He "allegedly" did this eight times. Why? Well, other than to embarrass his tight butt family he wanted to use the churches' internet connections to surf the web for pornography.
The local police report he also made $300 worth of calls to phone-sex companies. Oops, and, oh, by the way, he stole laptop computers on two occasions. When asked about why he targeted churches to watch his porn, Nathanael just stared back at the police like where else would he go to watch porn. Talk about strange; it didn't sink in as to why this might be considered socially inappropriate. After all, everyone knows you pay for your own porn and watch it furtively at home.
Well, it turns out Nathanael is a good kid. He 'fessed up to his bizarre crimes and told police where to find the computers. Now, will someone get this kid a girlfriend? Definitely a case of "looking for love in all the wrong places."
